City of Greenville
The City of Greenville offers curbside recycling to its residents. All recyclable materials may be placed in the same bin (commingled) for pick up from the backyard (extra charge) or the curb. Cardboard should be placed beside the bin, and boxes should be broken down. Decals for the recycling containers are available at no charge.

Recycling centers are currently being constructed at every City multi-family apartment complex. These units will be completed by the end of the 2011-2012 fiscal year. Public recycling centers are located at Public Works on 1500 Beatty Street and on E. Arlington Blvd. across from JH Rose High School. These centers are open 24 hours.
Also during the 2011-2012 calendar year, Public Works will be conducting a recycling rewards campaign entitled, “Recycling Made Easy.” Residents “caught” participating in curbside recycling will be given gift cards or GUC utility bill credits. Click here for the campaign’s brochure. |
