ECVC is recognized as a producer of fine quality products, delivered on time, and as a leader in the fields of rehabilitation and
recycling. A partial list of our corporate achievements include:
- Defense Logistics Agency Outstanding Javits - Wagner O'Day Program Vendor Award (2001, 2005, 2007)
- Quality Vendor Award received from the Defense Supply Center, Richmond (1993 - 2006)
- Tim McClure Award for Outstanding Community and Environmental Leadership (2001) from the National
Recycling Coalition (NRC), national recycling award
- Employer of the Year (1996) Award presented by the Pitt County Committee for Employment of People with Disabilities
- Defense Logistics Agency's Strategic Partnership Award (1996), one of only twenty-three nominees nationally for the first ever
- Best County-Wide Recycling Program in North Carolina (1995) presented by the N.C. Division of Solid Waste
- NISH award for second best program in the USA for Performance Excellence in Developing Human Potential (1994)
- Outstanding County Program Award (1994) from the N.C. Association of County Commissioners
